SN-920 Ultra Kit

The SN-920 ULTRA Industrial Cordless Phone System package provides long-range cordless phone operation within demanding business environments. The SN-920 ULTRA is the ideal package for anyone that requires mobility and telephone access. This expandable system can be part of an EnGenius SN-900 ULTRA or the SN-920 system of up to four phone lines (requires four base units, one base per line) and 36 handsets. The optional external antenna kits (ULTRA-AK10 & AK20 - one antenna per base unit) makes effective outdoor cordless phone operation a viable resource for industrial parks, construction sites, auto dealers or other demanding campus environments. This system is also two-way radio compatible, independent of the base unit (additional handsets required for two-way communication).

SN-920 Ultra Handset

The power of the SN-920 ULTRA long-range Industrial Cordless Phone System package is enhanced with each additional handset. EnGenius SN-920 system handsets can be added, as needed, to meet the demands of your business communications. Each handset can work as a long-range cordless phone and two-way radio in conjunction with your other EnGenius SN-900 or SN-920 base(s) and handset(s). Each base unit can support up to 9 handsets within its primary family and up to 36 handsets when additional base units are grouped as an extended family.

External Antenna Kits

The optional 3 db External Antenna for the EnGenius long-range industrial cordless phone systems makes effective outdoor cordless phone operation a viable resource for industrial parks, farms, construction sites, auto dealers or other demanding campus environments. The ULTRA-AK10 includes 30 feet (10 meters) and the ULTRA-AK20 includes 60 feet (20 meters) of coaxial cable and can be used with any EnGenius base unit. The rubber antenna on the base unit is replaced by the external antenna coaxial connector. Installation of the EnGenius ULTRA-AK by an professional radio antenna installer is recommended. We also have an optional Lightning Protector Kit in the complete price list below. NOTE: One antenna is required for each base unit installed.

Tech Note:  While there is a 6db gain in the antenna, the 60' Coax cable has a 3db loss, resulting in 3db gain at the antenna. The range of the EnGenius cordless phones are extended, with proper installation, due to height and positioning. However, the 30' cable kit is rated at a 0db loss which results in maintaining the 6db gain at the antenna, thus providing the maximum output and range. When using either of the cable kits do not leave excess cable coiled up (stretch it out) as this will cause loss in performance.
